Terms of service

Last updated October 27, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and J20 Solutions (“we”), the maker of Plainview. By creating an account or using Plainview you agree to them.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for everything that happens under it. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Plainview.

Your sites and data

You may only add websites you own or are authorized to measure. You own the data Plainview collects for your sites. You grant us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. We don’t sell it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Plainview to break the law, to collect personal data in ways your visitors haven’t been told about, to attack or overload the service, or to resell it without our written permission.

Plans, trials and billing

New accounts start with a 14-day trial. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account page; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice.

Limits

Each plan includes a monthly pageview allowance. If you go over it regularly we’ll ask you to move to a larger plan. We won’t stop recording without notice.

Availability

We work hard to keep Plainview running but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Plainview is provided “as is”.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. After an account is closed, we delete its data within 30 days.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll email account owners before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
